Politics is a family business for Ann Corlett

corlett-picAnn Corlett talks to Paul Speller about the family business of politics in the last of the first leg of his interview series with MHKs.

Mrs Corlett, the daughter of two former mayors of Douglas, reveals a change of attitude towards pre-schools in the Department of Education and Children and discusses the importance of not speaking for the sake of it in her interview.

She is the last of the new Isle of Man’s 12 new MHKs to be interviewed by Paul for an exclusive Isle of Man Examiner series.

You can now read the interview online here.

Due to the positive reaction to the in-depth articles, it has been decided to extend the series to the remaining 12 Members of the House of Keys and will continue next week with Chris Robertshaw.
