‘I can’t stand weaklings that whine about unions’

Paul Speller conducted an exclusive interview with Isle of Man Prospect’s negotiations officer Angela Moffatt, for Money Media magazine.

PS150204(12a)In the interview, Ms Moffatt talks about how trade unions remain relevant and can play an important part in a successful economy.

The union boss also says that Prospect’s membership is on the up and the employers that realise they can deal with unions stand to benefit from a healthy relationship.

But she has short shrift for those who employers who blame past deals negotiated for workers by trade unions for difficulties in the present day.

‘I can’t stand weaklings that whine about unions,’ she told Paul.
